As one of the longest-serving leaders of a major law firm, David Kerr has spearheaded over 20 years of innovative expansion and development in an increasingly competitive environment.
A true visionary, he has been the driving force behind Bird & Bird’s strategy for building a full-service, technology led global firm.
On David’s watch, the firm has gone from being a relatively small primarily London firm, best known as a specialist IP and TMT outfit, to a formidable international player – whilst managing to preserve its distinctive and widely admired culture.
He pioneered an industry sector focus which has since been widely copied by other firms.
David’s promotion and support of innovation in the way the firm operates and how it serves clients have also been characteristic of his leadership.
