Dentons

Covid has shone a spotlight on the relationship between businesses and society. Amidst the gloom of the pandemic, many professional services firms have stood out for their energy, generosity of spirit, empathy and impact.

Dentons have made it a part of their mission to provide pro bono legal support for vulnerable people within the communities where they work, including in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the country. The judges were particularly impressed to see high-quality support for victims of domestic violence, unaccompanied children seeking asylum and local NGOs and charities.

This approach is embraced throughout the firm and Dentons is rightly proud of its benefits and the contribution is makes.

2nd place

Arthur Cox

Migrant workers frequently face discrimination, hardship and exploitation. But they rarely attract public sympathy or political support. So Arthur Cox is congratulated for making Migrant Rights Centre Ireland the focus of its pro bono work, providing direct support to individual migrants and training for the Centre’s staff.

Arthur Cox go the extra mile in using their skills and expertise to achieve better outcomes for a very vulnerable group of people that should  also deliver benefits for many years to come. This is a  ‘whole firm’ commitment to a  brighter future.
