Haysmacintyre
Haysmacintyre edged out its Runner Up by a close margin with one of the six main areas of assessment having been the tipping point to win. The consequence of Brexit and Covid-19 gave rise to Haysmacintyre’s ‘knowledge hub’ providing clients with concise information and innovative technology to help them thrive. It resulted in the new and updated innovative software, through an external partnership collaboration, to help clients gain deeper insight – not just regular updates but practical advice. During this difficult period of time domestically and globally, Haysmacintyre also took further steps to develop its secure file sharing with clients through project management tools, including improved dashboard reporting packages. In addition, the firm collaborated with three app providers.
The judges were impressed with effective leadership at every level in the firm, with each initiative having a sponsor/lead partner to champion support, the outcome being many clients having benefited.

Dentons
The judges provided consistent over-3 marks to the Dentons Free COVID–19 Hub submission in each of the six main areas of assessment.
We particularly liked the alignment between Dentons core mission and the development of the hub. This provides relevance and usefulness, as well as endurance and longevity to professionals and clients who will probably need more of the same for a long time, as circumstances continue to evolve.
We liked Dentons being first to market and the reach and spread across 50 jurisdictions – which represents Dentons leveraging again their strengths and who they are.
We found evidence of a strong positive impact – also being better documented than in many submissions.
For the future, we would advise to strengthen on evidences regarding innovation and additional quantitive measures of impact.
Overall, our collective assessment went for a very high ‘Effective Education’ measure – which ultimately is at the heart of the category.
