Command and control is a risky style of leadership when everyone is isolated and traditional systems are hard to enforce. The presenter is Richard Thorby, an executive coach with an unusual background: accountancy training; company secretary of a billion-dollar luxury goods multinational; and CEO of a top 100 law and a leading actuarial firm. Richard’s transition from CEO to executive coach has taken him a decade.
